Optimised shaft dimensions and lift configurations across twin towers to maximise residential floor area while maintaining robust traffic performance.
This mixed-use new build development, designed by SOM, consisting of two towers of 40 and 50 storeys, which on completion at 180m, was the tallest residential development in the UK.
The development provides 850 apartments, 30,000 sq. Ft. of retail and leisure use and 200 car park spaces.
The VT design optimised the shaft dimensions to minimise space, which was used to increase apartment sizes.
